Hi, everyone! We hope you have a great holiday weekend! A few reminders:

• There is no practice on 7/4 and no meet this weekend.
• If you have no declared your simmer for the following events, please do so ASAP!
• Pep Rally & Setup 6:30-8:30 at Hood on 7/11
• Meet against the Y at Hood College on 7/12; this will be a long meet.
• Divisionals at Frederick Y in Urbana on 7/19; this will be a long meet.
• Banquet 5-7:30 at Hood on 7/19
• All Starts at Hood on 7/26; this will be a long meet.

For divisionals, in order for swimmers to score points, they must have swum in two other meets. Otherwise, the swim is an exhibition swim. For this meet, declarations are due by MONDAY (7/14). This will be a long meet. 

For All Stars, swimmers must have swum in two other meets and have met a time standard. If your swimmer has swum an All Star qualifying time, it will have star on their ribbon and on the results sheet. Each event is $5. You will select your swimmer’s events. Event charges are payable via cash or check. Checks and cash can be given to Shannon or a coach at practice. The All Star time standards can also be found here. For this meet, declarations are due on Sunday (7/20). There is a surcharge for any late entries, and they are not accepted at all past Monday (7/21).

Finally, we are starting to collect donations for our coach gifts at the end of the season. While some of our over 15 coaches are paid, most are volunteers. Please consider donating to the ‘gift’ fund. Donations can be given to Shannon or to a coach in an envelope marked with Shannon’s name at practice. We divide donations among the coaches and present the gifts at the banquet.
