Hello, Hammerheads! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! We’re glad to see you back at the pool this week! Quick notes:

- Please declare your swimmer by Tuesday evening (7/7) if they will be swimming meet on Saturday against Windsor Knolls (at Windsor Knolls). This is our last dual meet of the season!

- Coach gift collection: We are starting to collect donations for our coach gifts at the end of the season. While some of our 16 and older coaches are paid, most coaches are volunteers and do this because they enjoy helping kids learn to swim, love swimming, and know how important water safety is. Please consider donating to the ‘gift’ fund either by cash or check. Donations can be given to Shannon or to a coach in an envelope marked with Shannon’s name at practice. We divide donations among the coaches and present the gifts at the banquet.

- Please also let us know if your family will be coming to the Pep Rally on 7/17 and/or the banquet on 7/18.

- Divisonals and All Stars are fast approaching! Everyone can swim in divisionals, but times only count for points for the team if swimmers have swum in two other meets this season. The deadline for declaring for divisionals is 7/13 (Monday). All Stars requires swimmers to qualify with a fast time (Star time; printed on ribbons and in results) AND have swum in two other meets. All Stars also requires an entry fee per event (usually around $5). If you know your child has qualified and wants to swim in All Stars, please declare them by 7/19 (Sunday) and pick their events. Hammerheads then gives one check for all entries to the league. The system will only allow you to pick events they have qualified in. If your swimmer is swimming in a year-round club meet in the afternoon, please pick events in the first half of the meet, if possible. Payment can be made to Hammerheads in either check or cash. If your swimmer swims at All Stars, you are also expected to volunteer at this meet.

- Please check bags for a lost pair of Air Pods and/or other goggles, caps, clothing that accidentally found its way home with you. Any lost items can be returned to Shannon or any of the coaches.
