We’re almost at the sunset of the season. We’re very proud of the swimmers and how far they’ve come, as well as all the coaches and parents that have helped them along the way! Don’t forget to contribute to our gift to thank our coaches or to the Pie-a-Coach fundraiser! Cash and checks can be given to Shannon at practice or to a coach with Shannon’s name on the outside of an envelope (mark name of swimmer and coach to pie, as appropriate; $20/pie). Here’s some reminders as we go into Divisionals week!

Divisionals (7/18)

This is the last meet of the regular season. All 4 teams in our division will swim together at Hood. Instead of 4 individual events, there is a maximum of three individual events. Everyone can swim in this meet, but if your swimmer hasn’t swum in two other meets, then they will be swimming exhibition. Exhibition swims can be used to qualify for the All Stars meet. You must declare your swimmer by MONDAY, 7/13, at 11:59. If your swimmer is swimming at Divisionals in the morning and a year-round meet in the afternoon, please indicate that in the notes because their events will need to be earlier in the meet.

All Stars (7/25)

If your swimmer has already qualified for All Stars and is planning to swim, please go ahead and declare them. You will pick the events that your swimmer wants to swim. If you are unable to pick an event, that means that your swimmer did not qualify for it. Each swim is usually about $5 each and payable cash/check/Venmo to Hammerheads. The Hammerheads give one check to the league for all our swimmers’ events. You must declare/pick events by SUNDAY (7/19) at 11:59. Payments are due by Monday (7/20).

Pep Rally & Banquet

• Pep Rally 7/17: Declare by 7/15! Hammerheads provides the pizza, families bring sides or desserts. Help us set up for the meet while the swimmers play and eat.
• Banquet 7/19: Declare by 7/13! Hammerheads provides the main, families bring sides or desserts. Help us celebrate each swimmer through paper plate awards and thank our coaches!
